Hi!
My name is Staffan Persson and I am studying Biochemistry on a graduate
level in Sweden. I will soon start my PhD studyings in the same area in the
US. My main interests regarding Japanese movies lies in the art and
avatgarde area. One of the better japanese movies I?ve been seen lately is
Sogs Ishii's "August in the water".

By the way, I asked mr Ishii at the last filmfestival in Berlin if it is
possible to get his films on videotapes, but he did?nt know. Is there
anybody taking part in the Kinejapan group who knows if it?s possible to
obtain videocopies of his films, except "1/2 Mensch".
