Bungeiza demise

I reported on Kinema Club at the beginning of the year that one of 
Tokyo's most famous and longest running rep houses, the Bungeiza, was 
torn down.  At the time, the owners announced their intention to rebuild 
somewhere else, but the other day it was quite widely reported (it even 
hit the morning wide shows) that the parent corporation Jinseiza has 
filed for bankruptcy.  The chances of the Bungeiza ever being revived are 
now close to nil.
