Takeshi Kitano's "Fireworks"

Dear Mark,

Thanks for the info. We've talked over the various titles with Kitano's sales
rep, Celluloid Dream, and we agree that for the market we're trying for
(young, hip, etc.), that Fireworks is the best title for the film. However,
we just got a very nice letter of introduction faxed from Office Kitano this
morning so I'm sure we'll be discussing this and everything else about the
film. 

I find it interesting that Kitano had the titles of Kids Return and Hana-Bi
in English and phoneticly-written respectively on the two films. Any idea
why?
