self intro

Hello,

I'm really excited about finding this site devoted to Japanese moving
images. Here is some information about me:

NAME: Bobby Beaton
CITY: Montr?al, Canada
AGE: 30
OCCUPATION: Retail bookstore manager / musician

I rarely encounter people with any interest in contemporary Japanese
cinema (except for anime and action pictures). I see many Japanese  
movies each year at the Montreal World Film festival, most of which
disappear never to be released in Canada.  I often find that the 
Japanese pictures that do get world-wide release are far less
interesting 
than the less accessible fare on the festival circuit.  
I am also a fan of classic Japanese cinema, but then again, who isn't?
