thanks for your report on the YIDFF. I?m most interested in the section
"Imperial Japan at the Movies." Is there going to be a publication on
the subject like the "Media Wars Then & Now" book?

I never knew Shimizu Hiroshi made documentaries - though "Hanagata
senshu" could be called semi-documentary, I guess. Can you tell me the
title(s) of his works shown in Yamagata? I didn?t find them in the web.
