I haven't seen this film at all.  But, in response to Mark's most recent
comments, I'd like to suggest that I perceive a difference in POV
due to the critics' different life experiences largely based on their
gender and nothing to do with language skills.  It is a gap I continually
experienced in theater criticism and I think a lot of light is shed on the
issue by Jill Dolan in _The Critic as Feminist Spectator_.
