Madadayo

Kurosawa's latest film was shown commercially in Hong Kong and
Taiwan.  I do not know how it was received, but I do not think
it was a success, either commercially or critically.  Hong Kong
audiences in general like actions, gags, big stars, romances, 
melodramas, and sexual comedies.  <Love Letter> and 
<Shall We Dance> are successes, but not <Madadayo>.
