The term concentration camp was coined by their inventor,Valeriano Weyler y
Nicolau, colonial governor of Cuba, in 1896. Actually he called them campos
de reconcentracion. Widely used there, in the Boer War, the Phillipine War,
etc., They're a pretty common way of dealing with perceived and real
"rebels." A death camp is a development of a concentration camp.
My favorite movies of the 80's were:
Yume Miru Yo ni Nemuritai
Doro no Kawa
Comic Zasshi nanka Iranai
Ososhiki
Kazoku Game
