I can only supply a few answers to the questions listed below.
About the length of the 9 films, I found out information on:
(5) 2,657 meters   96 min.
(6) 2,487 mrters   91 min.
(7) 2,267 meters   85 min.

The source of my information is issue no. 350 (5 October 1963),
a special issue of <Kinema Junpo> containing a postwar 
filmography of Japanse cinema 1945-1962.  The length is given
in meters, not minutes.  The minutes are my suggestions based
on locating other films of similar lengths with recorded time
in minutes.  There must be a formula of converting meters into
minutes, but this is beyond me.

Among the second group of films, I know <Kagi> (1974) is in
color.
