Well, one way to approach the subject is through the sixties' "Yakuza"
films, especially those starring Tsuruta Koji, who was a kamikaze pilot and
I think the only one to survive his group. I did an interview with him
in 80-82, I think, published in one of the newspapers.  If you are interested
I'll look it up.  might have a copy.
