Bio data on Shimura Takashi

Not long after Shimura Takashi's death in 1982(?), there was a small but
full piece on him in the obituary section of a British film magazine of
the Sight and Sound variety.  Can anyone pinpoint the date of that piece
and the exact title?  I think it probably is Sight and Sound.

Also I would be interested in other sources of biographical data and
credits on Shimura.  I am trying to update his IMDb listing.
