Eunice, I wrote my opinion of this film some months back on this list. The
most important message it may convey is that we should not presume
marginalized peoples necessarily have a lot in common with one another!
Actually, I think it provides *great* fodder for feminist film theory
discussion.  I think the female character in this is the uhr phallus.
