While most contemporary Japanese horror films remain unavailable on North
American video (except for fair to poor mistranslated subbed bootlegs from
Video Search of Miami), I just found an excellent site from Japanes with
over 500 titles indexed in English. No plots, but complete cast and
production info. Good spot to start. It's at
www.bekkoame.or.jp/~gore-gore/. Hope this helps. Oh, yeah, Evil Dead Trap
(at least the first one) is a crazed slasher film very high on style a la
Argento. Worth seeking out.
