I was only able to see two of his films when they were here in Toronto:

Black Test Car (Kuro no tesuto kaa)
Afraid to Die (Karakkaze yaro)

As these films seem to be shown rarely, it may be worth the effort to
see some if possible.  I definitely enjoyed the look of the films.  I
was impressed that the films were quite well-attended in Toronto.
