Toshio Hirata

Hello to Everyone:

I'm looking for any suggestions or help in finding information about
the director Toshio Hirata.  To date I have only been able to find
one listing on the IMDB (Barefoot Generation 2) for this director, 
with no supplemental information.  I have also searched the FIAF 
database to no avail.

Specifically, I'm looking for biographical information, a full
filmography, any interviews conducted in or translated into 
English, and any critical or review essays available in English.

If anyone can point me to any specific sources for this information,
or other avenues to search I would be very grateful.
