Hana-Bi in Santa Barbara

Takeshi Kitano's "Hana-Bi" will be playing this coming Thursday, Oct. 15, 7
p.m. at UCSB's Campbell Hall. I was able to see an advance tape of the film
and reviewed in The Santa Barbara Independent, our local weekly. So many
people on this list have written about it already, but for those nearby,
here is a chance to see it on the big screen. It really is quite wonderful,
and it's the only Kitano film I've seen.
