Just out of curiosity, never having attended an International Film Festival,
are the films generally subtitled? If so in the language of the host
country, English or other?

PS.  Thanks Aaron for the New England update. By the way, Coolidge Corner
Theater has shown many Japanese films over the years and is now in the
middle of a Kurosawa retrospective on Mondays in memory of the late
director.  It is the first theater around Boston to respond to the passing
of Kurosawa.
