Oshima's new film

It was announced the other day that Oshima Nagisa's first film in 12 
years, _Gohatto_, whose production originally was announced by Shochiku 
two years ago, will finally begin filming at the beginning of next year.  
The production was halted when Oshima had a cerebral infarction in 1996.  
The film is a jidai-geki based on a novel by Shiba Ryutaro and will 
feature Matsuda Ryuhei, the son of Matsuda Yusaku, among others.
