"Peter," the cross-dressing Japanese 60s pop phenom who appeared as the
Fool in Kurosawa's "Ran," starred in Matsumoto Yoshio's 1966 (?)
"Funeral Parade of Roses," about a cross-dressing bar host(ess) in
Shinjuku-nichome who gouges out his/her eyes in the climax.
