New book on Oshima Nagisa

the one disappointment I had when reading Tumin's book is that it doesn't
cover Oshima's documentary "Kyoto, my mother's place" which I thought was
beautiful and very moving (I read that many Japanese viewers were moved to
tears by the film when it was premiered, although I don't know how true this
is)
It also doesn't deal with his documentary on Japanese film, although this is
perhaps more understandable since it was made relatively recently. I wonder
what other members thought of these two films
