Hi,

My name is Julie Koo and I'm the managing editor at Kaya, an independent
publisher of Asian / diasporic literature. We are based in New York.

I joined the list b/c we are starting up a book series on Asian filmmakers
called Wicked Radiance. The first book will be Beat Takeshi vs. Takeshi
Kitano by Casio Abe, translated from Japanese to English. Kitano fans,
please send me your contact info so I can keep you posted on this book!

If anyone has a fave book on a director that should be translated into
English, please send me info.
