The Center for International Education, Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan, 
is 
 now seeking the full time tenure track position Assistant/Associate 
 professor in the International Division to start in September 1999 
(April 
 2000 may be negotiable).  2-3 professors will be hired in the following 
 fields of Asian and Japanese studies; Political Science, Sociology or 
 Cultural Anthropology, and Art (fine arts, performing arts, and film 
 studies).  

 Applicants must hold a terminal degree in their field, must be able to 
 teach university lectures in English and must also have sufficient 
Japanese 
 ability to participate in university functions. Applications will be 
 accepted from January 11 to March 31, 1999.
