Women Japanese filmmakers

Hi everybody!
Since I am a new member, let me first introduce myself. My name is Cris
Reyns-Chikuma. I am now a visiting assistant professor at Colorado
College (Colorado) in French and Comp.Lit. I am also finishing my M.A. in
Japanese on the topic "Women Japanese Filmmakers."
At the same time with Professor Steve Snyder I am organizing a colloquium
on the same topic next April (2000) at CU Boulder. I am looking for more
information about Japanese women filmmakers: names, titles, but especially 
places where to obtain copies of the films. If you know anything about
that, I would be very grateful.
