Remembering the Cosmos

I haven't seen the film, just picking up the story from Mark Schilling's 
review in "The Japan Times" back in 1997 when it was released, which he can 
perhaps email to you.  Or buy his book later this year.  But off the top of 
my head its a melodrama about a HIV+ girl in high school, right?

I vaguely recall that she caught the virus in a "nice" way, following a car 
accident in South America...

Japanese title is "COSMOS", or rather two kanji that approximate to that 
sound.  I would like to know where your English title comes from.
