Good morning,

Here at the Center for Japanese Studies we are in the process of
organizing our Fall Film Series.  One of the dates we have available for
booking a film is Friday, October 29.  Since this date is so close to
Halloween, we were hoping to book a supenseful/"scary" film and to
this end had considered Daiei's film "Cure."  Any comments?

We also seem to be having a problem contacting Daiei for rental
information.  We have faxed Daiei in Japan twice, one a general fax and
the other to the attention of Furui Atsushi (both to 3573-8720), and once
to Daiei in America, sent to the attention of John Johnson at
310-372-6912.  Is there another number/contact we should be using, or is
another number available?

Also, what is the fax number/e-mail contact to reach the distributors of
"Asian Blue: Yukishimamaru Sagon" (dir. Hiromichi Horikawa, 1995) and
"Sayonara Nippon" (dir. Yukihiko Tsutsumi, 1995).  I believe "Sayonara
Nippon" is released through Cine Qua Non, so the fax contact would be
3-5458-6572, correct?
