Thanks Todd.

Anyone know what award(s) it won?

Is there any reason why it was only released in the UK? Was it just that it was only picked
by a company in the UK (sorry for my ignorance, but is PAL video a company, or just referring
to the PAL video standard?)?

I was also wondering where the English title came from. Is "Shindobaddo" (in katakana) from the
original "Nagisa no Shindobaddo" title just "Sinbad"? Or does this phrase have some meaning in
Japanese that even my wife who is Japanese doesn't know? The English translation doesn't really
match up with the Japanese title, although it doesn't surprise me that much. I have posed this question
on the sci.lang.japan newsgroup, and if I get anything interesting, I'll let you know. But I would like to hear
what people here have to say about it, too.

Thanks.
