Found Films and benshi records

Well, research hodo no research I haven't done, but I have kept my eyes open
and no, I've never seen an ad. They are listed in company catalogs with no
mention of any peripheral product, but I'm not sure that that proves
anything. They are pretty common in flea market stacks of 78s, and I assume
that the market for the digest home films would be much smaller, so maybe
there isn't any connection. There ought to be, though.

David, it seems like it would be reasonably easy to research these benshi
78s. Certainly, there must be advertisements for them _somewhere._ At the
same time, I have to admit I've never run across them in journals of the
era
(and that includes the magazines devoted to "baby cinema," or the amateur
film market that the Pathe' Baby was part of). Have you ever gone back to
the dusty stacks of magazines for the record industry?
