films on cross-cultural experiences

A friend in Japan will be teaching a Cross-Cultural Experiences class at 
Meiji Gakuen U. in Yokohama, and she's wondering where in Japan she could 
get ahold of films such as Regge Life's "After America ... After Japan" (on 
returnees) or "Doubles" (on half-Japanese people)--English versions of them, 
that is.  Is there a place in the Kanto area where she can find such 
documentaries?  Would NHK have the English versions of these films, that 
were originally televised on that network?
