Cannes competition

The Cannes Film Festival announced the films participating in this year's 
competition, and two Japanese works were included:

Eureka -- Aoyama Shinji

Gohatto (Taboo) -- Oshima Nagisa

Interestingly, the press reports I saw gave Aoyama's name with the last 
name first (in proper Japanese order) and Oshima's name with the last 
name last.  Increasingly, Japanese filmmakers and distributors are 
preparing their English language information with Japanese name order, 
but the old practices die hard.
