Yamagata in Tokyo

The Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival will present a 
selection of the films from the YIDFF '99 and past festivals at BOX 
Higashinakano from April 29 to May 12.  A schedule of films is already 
available in the Update section of the YIDFF site:

The highlights include Fukuda Katsuhiko's _Filmmaking and the Way to the 
Village_, Matsue Tetsuaki's _Annyong-Kimchi_, Tsuchiya Yutaka's _The New 
God_ (the last two the subject of much discussion on KineJapan), and some 
of the films of the great documentarist Yanagisawa Hisao.
