self introduction

[Neil Martin]

hi everyone,
my name is Neil Martin I am a 25 year old film student in final year of my degree.  For my dissertation I am looking at Japanese cinema and in particular themes of life, honour, death and masculinity also relating these ideas to concepts of zen and other belief systems.  The films I am studying are Rashomon, an Autumn Afternoon, Sonatine, Ai No Borei and either Onibaba or The Eel.
