Japanese Women Directing Films

Hello KineJapan,

        I am researching Japanese women filmmakers and I am looking for
assistance in making contact with people who may have information or
films or be willing to give interviews that pertain to this topic. 
        If there are any Japanese women who work or have worked in the
industry, or have done or aspire to do independent film work who
subscibe to this list, I would really appreciate it if you would email
me. It will increase your international exposure and will help to fill
in an unfortunate blank space in Japanese film history. 
        So far, I have been gathering information about the following
women: Hidari Sachiko, Otsuki Natsuko, Utagawa Keiko, Kawase-Sento
Naomi, Haneda Sumiko, Tanaka Kinuyo, Mako Idemitsu, and even Ono Yoko
and Tanaka Janice, although I realise the last two are technically
Japanese-American. Any information on, videos by, or contact with these
women would be supremely helpful. Also, if you think there is anyone I
should be reserching who is not listed here, write and tell me.
