Firstly, apologies to the list for this little piece of SPAM.  I'm happy to 
either continue mailing this bulletin to the list on a weekly basis, mailing 
it out directly to list members without going through the KineJapan server, 
or only mail it out individually to those who specifically ask for the 
bulletin.  But I hope there's enough Japanese information in there to be of 
interest to the list.  And apologies to those of you who receive a duplicate 
of this newsletter.

I've decided to take an objective stance with the newsletter.  In the same 
manner that publications like "Variety" don't permit their journalists to be 
critics and vice versa.  For the record I absolutely LOVE "Tokyo Raiders" 
and "Sleeping Bride" of this week's releases and really like "Chunhyang".  
But I'm not so keen on "The First Timers" (Ichigensan) and I figure bitching 
about that in the bulletin doesn't really do me any good.  And I think most 
of you know my opinions on Rotterdam, etc, anyway.

Well, that's what I've been upto since moving to Hong Kong in late October, 
building a database of films in production, sales agents, film festivals, 
etc.  Multilingual as usual.  Feedback (and mistake spotting) appreciated as 
always.  Now does anyone know what the hell UZUMAKI is about...
