I'm sure everyone on this list would welcome the opportunity to be able to
view these films which go by virtually impossible to see by most of us at
the moment. I, for one, would be very interested in hearing more details
about the project.

It occured to me that some members of the list might be interested in an
email I had from a colleague who is a film historian in America.  He is
interested in setting up a website with the specific purpose of having the
goal of making Asian silents available on home video and DVD in the West as
well as fostering 35mm and 16mm revivals of these films in theatres,
cultural institutions etc with the appropriate musical accompaniment.  If
