ZAZIE (1989)

[David Lewis]

There is a Louis Malle 1960 light comedy
called "Zazie dans le Metro" (Zazie on the Subway - ???????
based on a novel by Raymond Queneau.
Both have been very popular in France and elsewhere, but not in the States.
I don't remember seeing the Japanese "Zazie",
and have no idea if they are related,
but since they are both written ?? in Japanese?
reflecting a French rather than Japanese rendering of Zazie,
I would not be surprised if they were.
