Jean-Pierre Limosin's Tokyo Eyes would be another example of an independent 
production mounted in Japan by a foreigner. Ian Kerkhof's Shabondama Elegy 
another. Neither have been particularly successful either on an artistic 
level or in removing the boundaries between cultures, in my opinion.
