Makino and Nagoya (E+J)

For those fans of Makino Mamoru out there (don't forget our honorary 
anthology _In Praise of Film Studies_, on sale now!), as well as for 
those interested in prewar modernism in Japan, the recent issue (No. 126) 
of the architecture and art magazine _C&D_ (in Japanese, ????????
) sports a special feature on film modernism in Nagoya, with Makino on 
the cover of the issue. The section is entitled "Eiga kara mita Nagoya 
modanizumu" and articles include an interview with Makino on prewar film 
culture in Nagoya (which included some very smart coterie magazines, as I 
found in my research on Kurutta ichipeiji), a piece on prewar Nagoya 
movie theater architecture, and a taidan between two members of the 
Nagoya experimental film scene.

Since it is published in Nagoya, I assume it's not easy to get elsewhere,
