Despairing of ever seeing the early Ozu films released on DVD (as yet
there's only OHAYO, and I think even that is out of print now), I stumbled
over a copy of YASUJIRO OZU: EARLY YEARS Vol. 1 laserdisc box set with the
following films:

*	DAYS OF YOUTH
*	I GRADUATED BUT...
*	WALK CHEERFULLY
*	I FLUNKED BUT...
*	THAT NIGHT'S WIFE
*	THE LADY AND THE BEARD
*	TOKYO CHORUS
*	I WAS BORN BUT...
*	WHERE ARE THE DREAMS OF YOUTH?
*	WOMAN OF TOKYO

Does anyone know if the expected other volumes in this series ever came
out? Can anyone supply a list of Ozu titles issues on L.D.-- which are of
good quality, and which are to be avoided.

Also, does anyone have a VHS (NTSC) copy of FALLEN BLOSSOMS, directed by
Tamizo Ishida? I've seen this film cited in a few places as a masterpiece,
and the extended dicussion in Nodl Burch's TO THE DISTANT OBSERVER is pretty
enticing. But still, the film and its creator seem to languishes in
obscurity--a few archive curators I've spoken to have never heard of it, and
I don't think it even appears on the IMDB! Any help would be greatly
appreciated . . . .
