Kaneto Shindo Anthologies

Hi:

I've noticed that CD Japan is offering two DVD box
sets of Kaneto Shindo's work (Anthology 1 & 2).  Their
info states that Anthology 1 has English subtitles
while Anthology 2 does not.  Can anyone clarify this? 
Is it perhaps an error on CD Japan's part?  I just
don't want to invest in Anthology 1 if it doesn't
indeed have English subtitles (of course, The Island
wouldn't be too hard to follow).
