Pearl Harbour and Japanese war films

Satso Yamamoto's Shinku Chitai 1952 and Hi no Hate 1954 are what I would add
to the list of the Japanese war films. The director is little known overseas
except in China, being a leftist film maker, but his art of digging into
solders's psyche deserves greater renown. I wish to write more about his
works somewhere.
