The name has briefly been mentioned before in these pages, but as of today 
Midnight Eye ? japan_cult_cinema is officially online at:

Midnight Eye is a website exclusively devoted to Japanese cinema in the 
shape of interviews, features, reviews and more. As we kick off, we have 
interviews with Kiyoshi Kurosawa and Makoto Shinozaki, feature articles on 
Kinji Fukasaku and Tetsuji Takechi and over 70 film reviews, ranging in 
scope from Pokemon to Guts of a Virgin, and from Gamera 3 to Love / Juice.

Midnight Eye will be updated with new items every week, so make sure to drop 
by regularly.
The focus is mainly on contemporary Japanese cinema, since we feel that the 
likes of Ozu, Kurosawa and Mizoguchi already receive more than enough 
attention and interest elsewhere.
