Self Intro/Message

My name is David White, I'm based in Nagoya, Japan, and am currently on a
distance-learning MA with the University of Sheffield in the UK.

I'm looking into representation of Koreans in contemporary Japanese film.
At this point in time, I have chosen 4 films to analyse,  all made within
the last decade:  Kazoku Cinema, Mitabi no kaikyo, Tsuki wa dochi ni dette
iru, and the fourth will possibly be Asian Blue.  I will most likely try to
cover representation from a semiotic angle.  Anyway, if anyone is
