Introduction

Hi, everyone.

I am a Japanese MA student in Critical Studies of cinema & TV school at 
USC.

I came to LA 7 months ago and started learning film/TV theory, history, 
cultural studies and so on. (both American and International context)  
I am still overwhelmed with a new life in LA...
Beforehand, I worked for US advertising agencyies in Tokyo for long time...
So, I am interested in business and academic aspect of film (both Japan and 
US)

Now I am particularly keen on how film industry people all over the world 
think about the marketabilitiy of Japanese movies.

I did not see many Japanese films while I was in Tokyo (which is very 
shameful!), so now I am working so hard in learning Japanese movies at 
school, from friends both in Tokyo and LA and from emails from subscirbers 
from Kine Japan.
