KAÏRO connections

To me, KA?RO is clearly not an horror movie in the sense that it doesn't
only aim to "scare" like RING. RING belongs to this genre, and the main
difference between the 2 movies, is that RING tries to solve the mystery
(and as a consequence lessen the fear of the unknown when everything is
explained). KA?RO operates, and probably too much sometimes, on the
metaphysical level.

Having the chance to see for the second time KUROSAWA's movies relased in
France at the Quartier Latin cinema, I can see that KA?RO tackles once again
the same themes :

- what draws human together or apart (loneliness)
- nature and technology
- ...

also i found recurrent images such as being in a person sitting alone in a
bus like making a travel beyound... abandonned places (a factory in KA?RO, a
resort in Charisma, an hospital in Cure)... the use of plastic curtains ...
