As many of you know, the Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival
will be taking place between October 3 and 9. There'll be a lot going
on, including retros of the films of Kamei Fumio and Robert Kramer, but
here first are some of the recent Japanese films and videos that will be
shown:

Teshigahara Hiroshi. The Kamei retro will feature talks by KineJapan's

As part of the Robert Kramer retro, the Doc's Kingdom seminar will be
held, which hopefully should include some discussions with recent
filmmakers from Japan and abroad.
