Adachi verdict

Adachi Masao, the film director and screenwriter who left Japan to join 
the Japanese Red Army in Palestine, was convicted yesterday of travelling 
with a false passport. He was sentenced to two years in prison, suspended 
for four years.  He is the first of the Red Army defendants returned from 
Lebanon last year to be convicted.

The prosecutors demanded 2 and a half years in prison, but the judge, 
considering that Adachi had been in custody for nearly a year and a half 
and had promised to conduct himself legally in the future, decided on the 
suspended sentence.

Question is what film activities Adachi will do in the future.
