Sen breaks attendance record

It probably does not warrant reporting (since it was a foregone 
conclusion), but Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi (Spirited Away) did 
finally break the box office record for a Japanese film on the 13th, 
reaching 19.354 billion yen and surpassing the figure of 193.323 billion 
set by Mononoke hime.  The record for foreign films is 25.9 billion set 
by Titanic.

Speaking of Miyazaki, the Mitaka no Mori Ghibli Art Museum, a joint 
project of Mitaka City and Studio Ghibli, is set to open to the public 
October 1.  The animation museum, located in Inokashira Park, is 
projected to be quite popular, so admission at first will be on a 
reservation-only basis.
