Pistol Opera & Midnight Eye update

I saw the film at the Venice Film Festival and loved it. True vintage 
Suzuki! Very strong use of colour and - interestingly enough for man known 
for his use of scope - he shot it in 1.33:1 aspect ratio, which works 
wonderfully well.

Expect a Pistol Opera review and an interview with Suzuki himself at 
Midnight Eye in the very near future.

For now, this week's fresh Midnight Eye update proudly sports an interview 
with director John Williams, who doesn't hold back when it comes to his 
opinions on Japanese cinema. Poor Shinji Aoyama...
