Japanese selection @ FEF

I agree with Fabio and Guillermo about FIF selection... I think that,
apart from "Ichi", the best japanese movies were absolutely pink eiga.
I found "No woman, no cry" one of the best movies of the festival at
all. A really impressive, painful and quite scaring movie about
destiny, repetition and individual. I'd be happy to see more movies
by that director.
I liked also "Moans from next door" very much, but I found "Snow
woman" really boring, though quite disturbing.

I think that "Laundry" was cute too... just cute, not really a masterpiece,
but far better than "Transparent".

ciao

fr> I totally agree with Guillermo when he sais that any note was given about "Ichi" .....And what about the screening hour? Maybe this kind of movie is a bit difficult to manage, but is not this the
fr> right way....If we think to the poor quality of the japanese movies screened this year at the FEF, this is even more weird.....
