Shoei Imamura DVD-s

Does anybody know why Shoei Imamura's "Kanzo Sensei" aka "Dr. Akagi" DVD 
(Saerom Entertainment/SRE [A Korea-Based Distributor]) is about 10 minutes 
shorter (117min) than official running time of the film (128min)? Could it 
be due to technical reasons -- whole film is perhaps running slightly 
faster than original? The film does not look like being cut. Or is it?

By the way, the latest Imamura film "Warm Water Under The Red Bridge" is 
now out on DVD. I got my copy only for 10 USD in http://www.dddhouse.com/ ! 
This is an all code DVD.
